Mike and I have always enjoyed watching the cranes, something we hope to pass along to our children. It truely is an beautiful sight. In the early morning, waiting for the day to lighten enough to see the birds roosting on the Platte River is amazing. As the day dawns, cranes become visible...and then they're gone for the day.
