Double Zero
It is interesting. The British when supplying a phone number will say "double zero, one, double four" or "double 0, one, double four" for a number such as 001 44 782 1435.
In the U.S., we will say "zero, zero, one, four, four: or "O O 1, forty-four". (Technically, international calling from the U.S. starts 011 but that is another discussion" - which in the U.S. would be 'zero, one, one" and in the U.K. would be "zer.
I guess there is a reason that James Bond is "Double O seven". In the U.S. he would have been "Zero, Zero, Seven".
