The Burda family lit the Advent Wreath for the fourth and final Sunday.

Cecilia read the Advent declaration to the ENTIRE CONGREGATION.

Here is what she read:

As we light the first candle of Advent, we watch and wait, and wait, and stay alert for the coming of Christ when things will be on Earth as in heaven. The second candle reminds us to listen to all God's messengers, Like John the Baptist, the desert-dewelling change-proclaiming forerunner of Christ. The third candle shares the light of God's joy. Rejoice!

Today we light the fourth cand to remind us that God is breaking into our lives in new and different ways.
