Tristan and I biked to Riley.
I estimate the distance at approximately 4+ miles. It took roughly 25 minutes. Tristan was great. He pedaled hard the entire trip.
I am optimistic that we can continue to bike for the next month and possibly longer. It depends on how much cold he wants to endure.
As for me, I have a new bike and on my maiden trek to work, I was pulled over on the road. I was in the the wrong. I decided to bike on the shoulder facing traffic (technically, the correct manner in which to walk). A State Patrolman pulled me over and told me that cyclists need to obey the same rules as cars. Hmm, does that mean that I can cut people off and not give the right of way to cars? I doubt it.
It will be interesting to watch how things evolve with more bikes on the ride.
This makes three cyclists in our family. Cecilia bikes to Irving.
