Cecilia and Tristan let a millipede crawl over their hands at the Vancouver Aquarium.
Tristan wanted to swim in the Lynn Valley Creek. Unfortunately, we did not bring swimming trunks. After a lot of thought, we consented to let Tristan swim with his jeans. This is the video of Tristan jumping into the water.
This is a short video of the Beluga whales at the Vancouver Aquarium.
We were preparing to leave Granville Island. We took a detour down an alley and met a totem pole artist. He allowed us to record him and ask questions.
We were walking back into Vancouver during our vacation. We came across a waterfall built into the steps. Cecilia is walking over the area where the waterfall ends.
We were riding our bikes along the seawall at Stanley Park. It was starting to get late. As we neared the end of the trail and headed towards the city, we came across these amazing structures. We stopped climbed down to the water and viewed them up close.
This is a video from our trip to Vancouver. We visited Lynn Valley Creek to walk across the suspension bridge. After the bridge, we walked up a trail to a nice beach in the creek.
Tristan enjoyed himself.
This is a video of Tristan jumping into Lynn Valley Creek. This is a mountain stream. Of all the places we walked, the two places where we did not carry swim trunks were great opportunities for swimming.
We had rented a car which allowed us to travel to Lynn Valley. This was the last day to rent the car so we knew it was unlikely that Tristan would return to swim. Since Tristan had a change of clothes in the car, we allowed him to jump into the water.
The water is very cold. Tristan did not realize that before he jumped into the water. However, he quickly realized after jumping into the water.
We felt a little bad that Cecilia was not able to swim. We gave Cecilia the option but she quickly realized that the water was very cold.
