Musings and ramblings related the Burda family

First we visited Arlington cemetery. We had a audio tour and it explained all about the cemetery we got to see the changing of the guard. We saw the Kennedy family grave and the Arlington house.
My favorite part was listening to the story of Audie Murphy. He was very brave and he got lots of medals.

Today I bought copies of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Gettysburg Address. In a movie, I saw that there were copies, and I've wanted them ever since. Each document is printed on parchment. I found these copies at the visitor center at Arlington Cemetery, when I visited with my mom, dad, and Tristan.

We looked around downtown D.C. and saw the Washington Monument. It is a big monument with a point at the top. It looked very large from the bottom.

We also saw the World War II memorial because my dad thought it would be fun. It is a memorial for all World War II veterans. It looked very nice and well kept.
