Discipline

Discipline is an interesting word. In some applications, it denotes pain or punishment. As in reference to a father disciplining his child. In other applications, discipline refers to an inner resolve or moral fortitude that keeps one focused on making the correct choices and selecting the correct options in life.

I renewed my discipline of physical activity. I am amazed at how my body craves that discipline. As I start a new job, I also notice areas where a discipline can be implemented.

I have cycled to work this week and made it to the YMCA both days. Discipline is good.
